“Moi, Elle” is a play about the mother-daughter relationship through women of different origins: China, Mali, Iran—all living in France.
Three relationships, three generations, three paths and three cultures. Through twelve scenes, the stories of six women intersect, they slide over each other, and are reflected like a mirror facing each other.
Individual stories contribute to collective memory, cultural identities, and the history of our time. This creation aims to tell the stories of individuals caught up in social changes, particularly foreign women in France.
Three actresses, including one dancer, will perform six roles across twelve scenes. With the presence of a musician on stage, the show creates a dialogue between theater, dance, and music.
